Outside supervision is an awesome way to take your clinical skills to the next level. You’ll get a new perspective on your work from someone who has some distance from your work setting. It allows you to focus on the areas that you are most interested, rather than on priorities set by others.

I love helping new social workers grow their clinical skills. We will review cases and explore what is going great and where you own stuff gets in the way.  I will help you sharpen your diagnosing skills, feel more confident in the clinical situations that make you anxious, and wade through sticky ethical issues.  We’ll also talk through the system challenges that impact our work.

My entire social work career has been in mental health. I have worked in community mental health, community health in primary care, and in the private practice setting. I am currently the clinical supervisor/consultant for the social work team across the Neighborcare Health primary care clinic network. I am an approved supervisor for Washington state.  Clinical supervision is one of my favorite things to do, so please reach out if I we seem like a fit!
